I swear, they should administer an IQ test before letting anyone come within a mile of Ontario Place. Except then, we'd have like 20 people every day.
I was pouch selling today and this woman drove up and was shocked that our parking was $10. She claimed the website says it's $5. I said that must be a typo or she read it wrong, and she asked if I was sure. I said yes. She asked if I wasn't just pocketing the extra $5. I insisted that I was not, and that parking was indeed $10. She asked where she could file a complaint because "the website says $5." I directed her to guest services. She, in a very angry tone, asked for my name to complain about me, still believing I was stealing $5 from everyone who parked. Nevermind the SECURITY GUARD standing right next to me.
I happily gave her my name and sent her on her merry way.
That's right, someone tried to complain and get me fired because I was charging the correct amount for parking.
And for the record, it doesn't say $5 on the website. Right there, top of the list: 2005 Summer Daytime, May 1 - Aug 18 & Sept. 6 - Sept. 30 - until approx. 9:30PM. I'd say 1:30 in the afternoon on July 29 fits in that period, wouldn't you? Douchebag.
$5 is for car evening. AFTER 9:30 AT NIGHT.
People are so stupid.
But it's okay because Warped is tomorrow. If I can frigging get ahold of Ashley and figure it out.
